When one sister, a textiles teacher, was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in early 2025, the other, a doctor, found herself standing on both sides of the illness at once.
The Diagnosis and Us is their honest, unfiltered conversation about living with cancer: what it's really like to go through it, and what the medicine actually means. One sister shares the lived reality of treatment, fear, and hope. The other brings clear medical insight and her own personal story of watching someone she loves face the disease.

The Diagnosis
In our first episode, we go back to the beginning — to a beautiful, ordinary family life before the word "cancer" entered. We talk honestly about the diagnosis itself: the early signs (or lack thereof), and the day everything changed. What's it like to hear "stage 4 bowel cancer" about your own sister? What's it like to be the one receiving the news? From normal life to facing it together, this is where the rollercoaster begins.
